Day by Day Details Itinerary

 Day 01: Arrive Delhi- on arrival you will meet with our representative who will transfer you to hotel.

 Day 02: Delhi to Kalka by train and drive to Shimla. -The train, (Shatawdi Express) leaves New Delhi railway station at 0710 in the morning and reaches Kalka at 1200 hours. You will be transferred by cars to Shimla from Kalka station covering 80 Kms. Evening a walk on famous Mall road would relax you fully taking you to British Indian streets.

Day 03: Full day to explore Shimla- morning we drive to Jakhu temple which is at the hill top and from there we will be moving to the state museum and later to the Indian institute of Advanced studies for day’s sight seeing. Walk from Advance studies to Mall road offers the best heritages walks in India which you must do covering the heritage buildings enroute. Back to your hotel after dinner at mall road.

Day 04: Shimla to Sarahan drive/ 177 Kms/ 07 hours + 01 hour for lunch and photography. - A fantastic drive on Old Hindustan Tibet road indeed through beautiful valleys and colorful mountains From a distance the Great Himalayan Ranges with its more than 50 Kms snow capped ranges do mesmerize one who will be driving for about half of the day with the presence of this majestic view. Reach Rampur and further to Sarahan- the beautiful place with Bhimakali temple.

Day 05: Drive to Karcham and then to Kalpa: We drive down till Jeori on same road of yesterday where we get ready to take on the road to Kinnaur. This is the entrance to Kinnaur, and once again we are on the trail of the Sutlej valley. Reach Kalpa and the evening is spent complete with a visit to the Reckong Peo Monastery and Chini, which used to be the district headquarter earlier and was famous for Lord Dalhousie’s preference for the place as his summer abode over Shimla.

Day 06: Kalpa to Sangla and back/ 34 + 34 Kms and few excursions- Morning we enjoy the finest views of snow capped Kinner Kailash and leave for Sangla- the lush green valley of Kinnaur for day’s sight seeing. It is in these moments we pay a visit to the Kamru fort, which used to be the crowning place for Bushahar kings and which now houses the Kamakshi temple the deity which was bought from Guwahati.

Day 07: Kalpa to Nako via Kanum, Morang and Labrang.122Kms/06 hrs- Morning after breakfast we drive towards Nako- the destination of the day. On the way we visit few monasteries of the time of Rinchen Zangpo to understand the rich architecture, system and growth of Trans Himalayan Buddhism. Reach Nako, stay in tents.

Day 08: Nako to Tabo with visit to Chango: 72 Kms/ 03 hours- Today we enter into Spiti after a visit to Chango Village. It is called "Little Tibet" because it has almost the same terrain, vegetation & climate. Spiti also means "Middle Country". It lies between Tibet, Ladakh, Kinnaur, Lahoul & Kullu. Reach Tabo, check into the hotel and visit Tabo Monastery or Chos Khor in the evening. The place is called Ajanta of Himalayas too and the more than 1000 years old monastery is the finest in Himalayas.

Day 09: Tabo to Kaza with Dankhar, Lalung and Kungri/ full day sight seeing- morning walk to the facing caves and drive to Dankhar and Lalung monasteries which are another finest monasteries in Spiti. We cross the river and turn into Pin Valley to explore another centuries old monastery Kungri. Drive back to main road and reach Kaza for the night stay in hotel.

Day 10: Kaza to Ki and Kibber Monasteries in the noon and Hikkim, Langza and Komic in the afternoon-Morning we drive towards Kibber village and on the way visit to Kee monastery which is the biggest in the valley. After Kibber village we take a way to a mysterious but extremely beautiful monasteries and villages of Langza, Hikkim and Komik. Komic is the highest village of world connected with road. The monasteries are very special in these remote areas. Back to hotel by evening.

Day 11: Kaza to Kunzam drive and transit to Chander Tal Lake/ 80 Kms/ 6 hrs. Kunzam Pass 4558 Mt is our first detonation of the day. The top of the pass offers finest views of facing mountain ranges, we further take you the lake of moon – Chander Tal that would be the most beautiful in this journey. Night in camp.

Day 12: Chander Tal to Manali drive/ 130 Kms/ 6-7 hours- morning drive towards Manali though Batal, Chotadara, Chatru and Rohtang La. After crossing Rohtang you get into a modern world of Manali with lush green valleys. Check into your hotel on arrival.

Day 13: Manali- full day- explore the temples, handicraft centers and forest walks this day.

Day 14: Drive to Nalagarh/ 246 Kms/ 07 –08 hours- drive after breakfast to Nalagarh, an old kingdom close to Chandigarh. On the way you visit Mandi and its centuries old Hindu temples. Reach Nalagarh and check in to Fort Resort- a heritage hotel.

Day 15: Morning drive to Chandigarh and train to Delhi/ later transfer to international airport/ we drive to Chandigarh and board Shatawdi train that reaches Delhi around 1100 hours, full day for the sight seeing (on extra payments) and later transfer to international airport to fly home.
